I believe this saying is true for the most part.

I don’t fret over many things I used to.

The only problem is, it doesn’t offer any suggestion as to where to begin once this time is up.

Someone’s uncoordinated actions may no longer be able to hurt me the way they once could, but in no way must time change who they are;

After much deliberation I decided to go to town; expecting to have an average night given the number of people that bailed on going in.

Luckily I had a small group of people to hit up town with, one of which suggested we make 10 Jager-Bombs by the end of the night. Which we did; on top of 2 Scotch and Cokes and 4 pints.

It turned into quite a drunken, yet amazing night.

I ran into people that I don’t see often, and had some very heartfelt discussions with a number of close friends.

I don’t think I’ll be drinking again until Melbourne now, but I’m glad last night exceeded my expectations as it did.

You were the only downfall of the night. I wish you could explain it to me, because it’s something I can’t comprehend. If this is what makes you happy then who am I to intervene; one day though I hope for an explanation, even if all I can do is hope.

Paramore - Emergency

Back when they weren’t afraid to be called punk.

A picture I took at Waterfully Gully last time I trekked up there, something I plan to do again before these holidays are over.

My new toy, I’m quite content at first glance.

So my work have offered me a recovery contract; meaning assured shifts:

Thursday : 7 - 10

Friday : 5 - 8

Saturday : 3 - 6

I’m deeply considering it given that I’m not getting many hours at the moment; and can do nightfill on top of this.

It also means I could still go out on Friday and Saturday nights;

The only downside would be events that consist of a Saturday afternoon, I believe it’s worth the sacrifice though.

I hope it works out for the best.
