Four Year Strong - In Some Way, Shape or Form.
So I might be a little late on this, but it’s with good reason; I blame both the postman and my own intrigue.
I’ve listened to this album a few times now and from the get go could promptly say it wasn’t as good as Enemy of the World, but really, that would have been difficult.
Since then I’ve continued to listen to try and gather my opinions of it, and here they are. This album is downright incredible. Sure it may have taken me about three listens to pick this up, but I stand by it. Each song is one of its own, much like Enemy of the World, which is why everyone loves Four Year Strong. That and their amazing live performances and luscious meter long beards.
I’d have no hesitation giving this album a 9/10.
RIP Thursday 1997 - 2011/12.
One of the greatest bands in the world called it quits today; in fact, one of my favourite bands that was still currently formed.
This sucks, it really does, but to look on the positive side, as Thursday always would, I get lucky enough to be at their 2nd last show EVER, being Adelaides leg of Soundwave Festival.
