What should my comeback have been?
So tonight at work this happened;
I told one of my managers that we were understaffed, instead of doing the 2 usual stock trolleys, I had to do 13.
My new manager who has been an arse to everyone since he begun at the store, approached me and said in the most undermining of ways, while raising one eyebrow, ‘Tim, where are you getting 13 from? There’s 5 trolleys out the front and 8 in front of leisure, who taught you to count?’
So bewildered by the fact that I was positive I’d done the maths right, I said absolutely nothing in response and he just walked away, free from my insults.
So the question is…
What should my comeback have been?
